JOB LEVELP40EMPLOYEE ROLEIndividual Contributor<h2> The Challenge</h2>We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to architect, deploy, and manage both private and public cloud-based infrastructure. A strong candidate has deep expertise in various Infrastructure services, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and automation, with a track record of improving cloud scalability and reliability.Candidate must be able to express innovative thoughts and capable of working independently or in a team. Individual should be self-motivated and have excellent communication skills.<h2> What you’ll do</h2><ul><li>Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.</li><li>CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to facilitate infrastructure delivery using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub actions, etc.</li><li>Cloud Management: Plan, set up, and supervise cloud infrastructure on AWS, enhanced for affordability, efficiency, and protection.</li><li>Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.</li><li>Supervision & Efficiency: Establish and manage supervision, logging, and alert systems using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana to guarantee system well-being and efficiency.</li><li>Security & Compliance: · Implement security guidelines, including vulnerability management, secrets management, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR).</li><li>Cooperation: Partner with Adobe engineering and CloudOps teams to optimize workflows, resolve issues, and boost system reliability.</li><li>Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.</li><li>Incident Response: Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and documentation.</li></ul><h2> What you need to succeed</h2>Experience: 4-6 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Technical Expertise:<ul><li>Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.</li><li>Extensive background in working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub actions, and others.</li><li>Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, CloudFormation, etc.).</li><li>Extensive hands-on experience in design and automated deployment of complex infrastructure in AWS.</li><li>Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS, EKS, etc.</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).</li><li>Version Control: Proficient in using Git and platforms like GitHub.</li><li>Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.</li><li>Networking: Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC/VNET, DNS, ELB, routing, firewalls, etc.</li><li>Certifications (Preferred): AWS certified Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer </li></ul>Internal OpportunitiesCreativity, curiosity, and constant learning are celebrated aspects of your career growth journey.
