IBDP Educator
<p>We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to teach students under the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in their subject area, a learner-centred teaching philosophy, and a commitment to fostering global-mindedness, inquiry, and critical thinking in students.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location</strong>: Sector 70A, Gurgaon, India</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p><strong>Teaching and Learning</strong></p><ul><li>Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the <strong>IBDP</strong> and <strong>IGCSE</strong> curriculum frameworks.</li><li>Design learning experiences that develop conceptual understanding, analytical skills, and intercultural awareness.</li><li>Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests of students.</li><li>Incorporate <strong>IB Learner Profile attributes</strong> and <strong>Cambridge learner values</strong> into daily teaching practice.</li><li>Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and engagement.</li><li>Prepare students for internal assessments, examinations, and coursework according to IBDP/IGCSE requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Assessment and Feedback</strong></p><ul><li>Design and administer formative and summative assessments in accordance with IBDP and IGCSE standards.</li><li>Provide timely, constructive, and personalized feedback to students.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.</li><li>Contribute to the moderation and standardization of assessments to ensure consistency and fairness.</li></ul><p><strong>Professional Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with colleagues across departments and programmes (MYP/IBDP/IGCSE) to ensure curriculum coherence and progression.</li><li>Attend subject group meetings, professional development workshops, and IB/IGCSE training as required.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with educational research, assessment changes, and best practices in international education.</li><li>Contribute to curriculum review, resource development, and strategic planning.</li><li>Participate in school events, assemblies, parent-teacher conferences, and co-curricular activities.</li><li>Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom and school culture.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Education or in a relevant subject area (Master’s preferred). </li><li>Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent). </li><li>Minimum <strong>2–3 years of experience teaching IBDP and/or IGCSE</strong> (experience with both preferred).</li><li>Strong understanding of IB philosophy, inquiry-based learning, and international-mindedness.</li><li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.</li><li>Technologically proficient; experience with online learning platforms is an advantage. </li><li>IB training (Category 1, 2, or 3 workshops).</li></ul><p></p>
