Role Description This is a full-time remote Paralegal role based in India, working directly with senior leadership. The Paralegal will assist with U.S. immigration casework, client communication, legal document drafting, and case management. You will work U.S. hours during your first year, after which the firm will fully sponsor and pay for your U.S. work visa and relocation to join our Chicago-area office. Qualifications Assist with immigration case preparation and documentation Communicate professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds Maintain case records using technology and case-management software Draft, proofread, and format legal documents with high accuracy Support attorneys with research, organization, and administrative follow-up Collaborate closely with team members and adapt to evolving processes Use AI tools responsibly (supportive use, not dependency) Job Requirements: Master’s degree in Law (LL.M., Master of Law, or related field from India) Willingness to work U.S. hours (overnight IST) during year one Willingness to relocate to the United States after one year — visa fully sponsored Excellent written and verbal communication skills Robust reading comprehension and writing abilities (B2–C1 CEFR level) Skilled email etiquette and ability to communicate with international clients Ability to write time-sensitive, technical documents with accuracy and zero errors Ability to use technology, productivity tools, and AI efficiently Ability to work independently and within a structured team Clean background check required Preferred Qualifications: Experience in immigration law or legal research Prior case management experience Familiarity with U.S. immigration forms (e.g., I-130, I-485, H-1B, EB-5)
